Yet another Monday. The weekends go by way too quickly. So I did a lot of reading this weekend with the impromptu 24 hour readathon, but I’ll only let you in on the latest book I read. I want my wrap up to be awesome for this month, especially because it’s such a short month. I still have a whole lot of reading to do this month though, so let’s go ahead and get in to the books!
What Did I Read Last?
I DID IT, I FINALLY FINISHED THIS BOOK. I’ve only been trying to read it for years. Like since it first came out years. I’m a pretty big fan of the Shadowhunters show on Freeform which I know has obviously deviated from the series, but I did enjoy knowing a bot more about what was going on since I’ve watched the television show and have an understanding of the world. I have the rest of the series, and this year I want it to be reading and finishing more series so I hope that I can pick up the rest of those. But then again there are two more series in this world as well and I feel like those books are even bigger than this one. So I guess we will see how the rest of this year goes!
What Am I Currently Reading?
This is one of the last books that I need to read for #inloveathon, and of course I’m going to have to suck it up and physically read this one because I can’t find an audiobook for it anywhere. I have my fingers crossed that I can actually get it read and not end up just falling asleep every time I pick it up, because that’s what my problem has been lately with physically reading books. So far it seems interesting and I can hear the voices in my head as being British so I think it’ll be cute and I’m curious to see how things play out!
What do I plan to Read Next?
This is my next planned read. I just ordered the set of Night Circus Bookmarks from my friend Hannah’s Etsy shop @ Inspired Ink and they are absolutely gorgeous so I am totally ready to work on this. It’s also one of my TBR jar picks for the month so I know that I really need to start it. I am in the middle of In Love-a-thon but I got most of that reading done over the weekend, so even though today is the start of Contemporaryathon, I’m going to try and squeeze this book in and see if I can get it done quickly. I may have to put it down for some other books depending how the week goes, but so far this is the plan!
What are you all reading? I hope you’re having a great Read-A-Thin this month, I can’t wait to get to the end and see how everyone does with all the challenges. Also I have some news I’ll have for you later about our group read as well. But I’m saving those for later!! Hope you all have a painless Monday.
