So it’s getting to the point where it’s getting so hard for me to pick just one book to mention. I think I have a good idea of when everything comes out, which I never do so I can actually pick one out for this week but coming up watch out I may have to do multiple books.
Daughter of the Burning City by Amanda Foody
July 25th 2017
Sixteen-year-old Sorina has spent most of her life within the smoldering borders of the Gomorrah Festival. Yet even among the many unusual members of the traveling circus-city, Sorina stands apart as the only illusion-worker born in hundreds of years. This rare talent allows her to create illusions that others can see, feel and touch, with personalities all their own. Her creations are her family, and together they make up the cast of the Festival’s Freak Show.
But no matter how lifelike they may seem, her illusions are still just that—illusions, and not truly real. Or so she always believed…until one of them is murdered.
Desperate to protect her family, Sorina must track down the culprit and determine how they killed a person who doesn’t actually exist. Her search for answers leads her to the self-proclaimed gossip-worker Luca, and their investigation sends them through a haze of political turmoil and forbidden romance, and into the most sinister corners of the Festival. But as the killer continues murdering Sorina’s illusions one by one, she must unravel the horrifying truth before all of her loved ones disappear.
I’m really excited about this one, the cover is just so beautiful and I keep seeing it all over the place, gimme now please!
Welcome to the blog everyone, I hope you are having an amazing week so far, and we are already half way done with it! Every week when we get here I just can’t believe that the week is already half over. Days seem to kind of just blend together for me a lot of the time so it’s nice to have some sort of marker to let me know how the week is going. I don’t have too much news this week so let’s just go ahead and get to the book!
First We Were IV by Alexandra Sirowy
July 25th 2017
t started for pranks, fun, and forever memories.
A secret society – for the four of us.
The rules: Never lie. Never tell. Love each other.
We made the pledge and danced under the blood moon on the meteorite in the orchard. In the spot we found the dead girl five years earlier. And discovered the ancient drawings way before that.
Nothing could break the four of us apart – I thought.
But then, others wanted in. Our seaside town had secrets. History.
We wanted revenge.
We broke the rules. We lied. We told. We loved each other too much, not enough, and in ways we weren’t supposed to.
Our invention ratcheted out of control.
What started as a secret society, ended as justice. Revenge. Death. Rebellion.
I know I saw Books and Lala liked this book and it’s been on my radar for a little bit, so I can’t wait to be able to get my hands on a copy and see what I think of it too.
Well it’s almost that time of year for the second most popular time to release books to be upon us! There are so many new books coming out in the next 2 months or so that I cannot wait to get my hands on. I used to think October/November time was bad for my wallet because that’s when all the video games release, but no August/September is going to be worse for my wallet because of all the books that are going to be coming out. So this week let’s focus on a book coming just a little bit sooner, thankfully because I need this book in my life.
Lucky In Love by Kasie West
July 25th 2017
Maddie doesn’t believe in luck. She’s all about hard work and planning ahead. But one night, on a whim, she buys a lottery ticket. And then, to her astonishment —
In a flash, Maddie’s life is unrecognizable. No more stressing about college scholarships. Suddenly, she’s talking about renting a yacht. And being in the spotlight at school is fun… until rumors start flying, and random people ask her for loans. Now, Maddie isn’t sure who she can trust.
Except for Seth Nguyen, her funny, charming coworker at the local zoo. Seth doesn’t seem aware of Maddie’s big news. And, for some reason, she doesn’t want to tell him. But what will happen if he learns her secret?
I have to admit that I LOVE Kasie West books. I’ve read By Your Side and The Fill-In Boyfriend and just had such a good time reading them that I know I’ll enjoy this one too, and thank goodness I only have to wait til the end of this month to get my hands on a copy instead of 2 more months.
Welcome to the new blog everyone! Sorry I haven’t gotten a new post up just yet. I’ve been having a bit of a down spell. I’m not even too sure how to explain or what to call it when I just get in a general slump from my depression, but I am feeling better so I figure I should get some posts up so I can get back to blabbing about books like I love. So let’s get to this week’s WoW post!!
Our Dark Duet by Victoria Schwab
June 13th 2017 (My Birthday!)
Kate Harker is a girl who isn’t afraid of the dark. She’s a girl who hunts monsters. And she’s good at it. August Flynn is a monster who can never be human, no matter how much he once yearned for it. He’s a monster with a part to play. And he will play it, no matter the cost.
Nearly six months after Kate and August were first thrown together, the war between the monsters and the humans is terrifying reality. In Verity, August has become the leader he never wished to be, and in Prosperity, Kate has become the ruthless hunter she knew she could be. When a new monster emerges from the shadows—one who feeds on chaos and brings out its victim’s inner demons—it lures Kate home, where she finds more than she bargained for. She’ll face a monster she thought she killed, a boy she thought she knew, and a demon all her own.
So this is the sequel to This Savage Song and the conclusion to the duology. I don’t know about y’all but I know these covers are gorgeous. I cannot wait to see how this one ends!
Hey Everyone and welcome back to the blog. Sorry for the lack of posts so far this week. I’ve been traveling home from a mini trip with my mom and we’re not back home just yet, BUT I do have a post for you today of an awesome book that I was lucky enough to get a chance to read already. It comes out just next week and I’ll have a review up soon for it but I just couldn’t wait to tell you about it until then. So let’s get to this weeks book!

It’s been two years since Sam broke up with the only other eligible gay guy in his high school, so to say he’s been going through a romantic drought is the understatement of the decade. But when Meg, his ex-Catholic-turned-Wiccan best friend, suggests performing a love spell, Sam is just desperate enough to try. He crafts a list of ten traits he wants in a boyfriend and burns it in a cemetery at midnight on Friday the 13th.
Enter three seemingly perfect guys, all in pursuit of Sam. There’s Gus, the suave French exchange student; Jamie, the sweet and shy artist; and Travis, the guitar-playing tattooed enigma. Even Sam’s ex-boyfriend Landon might want another chance.
But does a Perfect Ten even exist? Find out in this delectable coming-of-age romcom with just a touch of magic.
Talk about cute right? Can’t wait to tell you all more about this later on in the week. Thanks so much for stopping by and let me know in the comments what books you’re most looking forward you!
Welcome Everyone and happy Hump Day! I hope you all are having a good week this week, man is it flying by. I thankfully am starting to have some good luck on my side and this week is going well for me. I know I cannot wait til the 30th for a LOT of book, but I’ve already told you all about them, so we’re gonna move a little in to June with this next book. I’ve read so many books by this author and I cannot wait to get my hands on this, so let’s get in to the book!
June 6th 2017
Louna, daughter of famed wedding planner Natalie Barrett, has seen every sort of wedding: on the beach, at historic mansions, in fancy hotels and clubs. Perhaps that’s why she’s cynical about happily-ever-after endings, especially since her own first love ended tragically. When Louna meets charming, happy-go-lucky serial dater Ambrose, she holds him at arm’s length. But Ambrose isn’t about to be discouraged, now that he’s met the one girl he really wants.
Sarah Dessen’s many, many fans will adore her latest, a richly satisfying, enormously entertaining story that has everything—humor, romance, and an ending both happy and imperfect, just like life itself.
As bubbly as champagne and delectable as wedding cake, Once and for All, Sarah Dessen’s thirteenth novel, is set in the world of wedding planning, where crises are routine.
This just sounds so cute and I know I love pretty much every book that comes from Sarah so I will be grabbing this one asap, well I guess June 6th lol. Are there any books y’all are excited about? Let me know below!
Hey guys and Welcome back to my blog! I hope you are all having an amazing week since it’s finally hump day! I know that I cannot wait til the end of the week to get here and we are just one step closer today! So the book I’m bringing to you this week is a bit different than most things I write about, it’s a huge mystery thriller book. I’ve been in a bit of a contemporary rut as of lately so when we finally get this one I’m hoping to kick that rut to the curb. So let’s get to the book!

Pay close attention and you might solve this.
On Monday afternoon, five students at Bayview High walk into detention.
Bronwyn, the brain, is Yale-bound and never breaks a rule.
Addy, the beauty, is the picture-perfect homecoming princess.
Nate, the criminal, is already on probation for dealing.
Cooper, the athlete, is the all-star baseball pitcher.
And Simon, the outcast, is the creator of Bayview High’s notorious gossip app.
Only, Simon never makes it out of that classroom. Before the end of detention Simon’s dead. And according to investigators, his death wasn’t an accident. On Monday, he died. But on Tuesday, he’d planned to post juicy reveals about all four of his high-profile classmates, which makes all four of them suspects in his murder. Or are they the perfect patsies for a killer who’s still on the loose?
Everyone has secrets, right? What really matters is how far you would go to protect them.
Doesn’t that just sound crazy!! I am super curious as to who done it and how it happened considering they’re all in High School! Like what, that’s just so crazy!
Welcome back everyone! So Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and I got my mom none other than a book! But of course, there are still many books that I am pining after that aren’t even out yet. I heard about this book what feels like a million years ago and it’s finally going to come out at the end of this month!
A laugh-out-loud, heartfelt YA romantic comedy, told in alternating perspectives, about two Indian-American teens whose parents have arranged for them to be married.
Dimple Shah has it all figured out. With graduation behind her, she’s more than ready for a break from her family, from Mamma’s inexplicable obsession with her finding the “Ideal Indian Husband.” Ugh. Dimple knows they must respect her principles on some level, though. If they truly believed she needed a husband right now, they wouldn’t have paid for her to attend a summer program for aspiring web developers…right?
Rishi Patel is a hopeless romantic. So when his parents tell him that his future wife will be attending the same summer program as him—wherein he’ll have to woo her—he’s totally on board. Because as silly as it sounds to most people in his life, Rishi wants to be arranged, believes in the power of tradition, stability, and being a part of something much bigger than himself.
The Shahs and Patels didn’t mean to start turning the wheels on this “suggested arrangement” so early in their children’s lives, but when they noticed them both gravitate toward the same summer program, they figured, Why not?
Dimple and Rishi may think they have each other figured out. But when opposites clash, love works hard to prove itself in the most unexpected ways.
I really cannot wait for this book to come out! What are you most excited for?
Welcome back everyone! Ok so usually I like to mention books that are closer to coming out when I make my WoW posts, but I have been so hyped about this book for I don’t even know how long, and I really just need to share this book with you guys, so let’s get to it!
May 30th 2017
In the real world, Eliza Mirk is shy, weird, and friendless. Online, Eliza is LadyConstellation, anonymous creator of the wildly popular webcomic Monstrous Sea. Eliza can’t imagine enjoying the real world as much as she loves her digital community, and has no desire to try.
Then Wallace Warland, Monstrous Sea‘s biggest fanfiction writer, transfers to her school. Wallace thinks Eliza is just another fan, and Eliza begins to wonder if a life offline might be worthwhile. But when Eliza’s secret is accidentally shared with the world, everything she’s built—her story, her relationship with Wallace, and even her sanity—begins to fall apart.
This literally just sounds so perfect, I know this month just started but can it be the end of the month already? What books are you guys most hyped about? Leave in the comments!
So the month of May is upon us, which means it’s the month of all the book releases that are going to make my bank account one sad little fella. So I’ll try and narrow down just my absolute most anticipated, but in fair warning the next couple of weeks will probably be filled with multiple books on the WoW posts. So without further talking, let me show you this weeks books!
Always and Forever Lara Jean by Jenny Han
May 2nd 2017
Lara Jean is having the best senior year a girl could ever hope for. She is head over heels in love with her boyfriend, Peter; her dad’s finally getting remarried to their next door neighbor, Ms. Rothschild; and Margot’s coming home for the summer just in time for the wedding.
But change is looming on the horizon. And while Lara Jean is having fun and keeping busy helping plan her father’s wedding, she can’t ignore the big life decisions she has to make. Most pressingly, where she wants to go to college and what that means for her relationship with Peter. She watched her sister Margot go through these growing pains. Now Lara Jean’s the one who’ll be graduating high school and leaving for college and leaving her family—and possibly the boy she loves—behind.
When your heart and your head are saying two different things, which one should you listen to?

It’s the start of Jordan Sun’s junior year at the Kensington-Blaine Boarding School for the Performing Arts. Unfortunately, she’s an Alto 2, which—in the musical theatre world—is sort of like being a vulture in the wild: She has a spot in the ecosystem, but nobody’s falling over themselves to express their appreciation. So it’s no surprise when she gets shut out of the fall musical for the third year straight.
Then the school gets a mass email: A spot has opened up in the Sharpshooters, Kensington’s elite a cappella octet. Worshiped … revered … all male. Desperate to prove herself, Jordan auditions in her most convincing drag, and it turns out that Jordan Sun, Tenor 1, is exactly what the Sharps are looking for.
