Happy Sunday everyone! So this post is not going to be long at all, but I checked out the library in my new town and got super excited about all the books that they actually have so I went to it and signed up for a library card like before I was even in this town for an entire week. BUT I ran in to a bit of a problem, they put you on a 3 book maximum for your very first check out. So of course I only was able to check out 3 books but I grabbed the ones I was most excited to read right now, and of course have been reading a lot of stuff from the Overdrive and Hoopla apps for this Library though. But here are the three books that I picked up this time, next time will probably be even worse because they have a small YA section but they have a lot of new books in that YA section so we’ll see how it goes, but for now, here are the books!
Frostblood by Elly Blake
The Hearts We Sold by Emily Lloyd James
Before She Ignites by Jodi Meadows
I got Frostblook in an audiobook too so hopefully that will help me read it quickly, because I really want to go back for more books so maybe I don’t buy a whole bunch more, but that’s probably not gonna happen. Next Library Loan should be a lot bigger! See you guys for tomorrow’s post and Happy Reading!
So I know I just recently did a library haul but I really couldn’t control myself and I had the idea to write down all the books I had been approved from netgalley that had been published and then head to my library to see if they had them already so I could have physical copies and read them to get reviews out, because I just do not like ebooks since I no longer have an ereader. I will mark those books with little * next to them so you can know what ones to expect reviews from sooner rather than later. So I did that, and of course there were a bunch of new releases that I needed. This is most likely going to be the last big Library haul for some time, so I can’t wait to tell you about all of these, some of them I have gotten the chance to read already, and I’m just going to get right in to the books because there are way too many of these.
A Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee
Love and First Sight by Josh Sundquist
The Unlikelies by Carrie Firestone
Antisocial* by Jillian Blake
Tash Hearts Tolstoy by Kathryn Ormsbee
Four Weeks Five People by Jennifer Yu
How To Love by Katie Cotugno
Dreamology by Lucy Keating
A Geek’s Guide to Unrequited Love by Sarvenaz Tash
Between Two Skies* by Joanne O’Sullivan
I Believe In A Thing Called Love* by Maureen Goo
When We Collided by Emery Lord
The Suffering Tree* by Elle Cosimano
None of The Above* I.W. Gregorio
The Land of 10,000 Madonnas by Kate Hattemer
Extraordinary Means by Robyn Schneider
No Good Deed by Goldy Moldavsky
Alive by Chandler Baker
Down Among The Sticks And Bones by Seanan McGuire
Every Heart A Doorway by Seanan McGuire
Looking For Group by Rory Harrison (oops repeat)
It Started With Goodbye* by Christina June
The Heartbreakers* by Ali Novak
All The Feels by Danika Stone
Phew ok, so that was my library haul, these all came from two different libraries, I have a couple in my district thankfully. I did about 10 at one and 12 at the other and then I had 3 holds that just came in. So yes, I have a lot of books but I hope to get most of these read pretty quickly while I have a good chunk of free time. Hope to see you tomorrow!
So it is that time of the month again everyone! I decided I needed to return some of my old Library books and check out what other books they had for me to check out! I do have to say ahead of time, one of these is one I have had out before but wasn’t able to read it last time. But I really plan to pick it up this time because I severely cut down the amount of library books I checked out and how many I had currently checked out, so without further ado, let’s get in to the books!
Ramona Blue by Julie Murphy
The First Time She Drowned by Kerry Kletter
A List of Cages by Robin Roe
Pivot Point by Kasie West
Not If I See You First by Eric Lindstrom
Legend by Marie Lu
So this month I picked up A List of Cages because it is the Java and the Librarians book club of the month, and also because I’ve really been wanting to read it. I picked back up Pivot Point because I love Kasie West and that and The Fill-In Boyfriend, which I’ve already read, were all that my library currently had in. Ramona Blue has been recommended to be by MULTIPLE youtubers so I cannot wait to pick it up and see how I like it. The rest of course are all I’ve been hearing about or seeing around and I just really wanted to pick them up! Pretty exciting haul this time and hopefully I can start to reel myself in some with all the library books. See y’all tomorrow!
Hey Everyone! Welcome back to the new blog. I hope everyone is enjoying it as much as I am. This is such a refreshing experience after so many years on Blogger. But anyway, to the reason we’re all here today. I went back to both of my local libraries to return books this week, and of course couldn’t help myself! So I picked up a total of 8 books and 2 comic bindups. I am so excited for all of these so let’s get in to the books!
A Long Way To A Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers
Deadly Cool by Gemma Halliday
The Odds of Loving Grover Cleveland by Rebekah Crane
Meg & Linus by Hanna Nowinski
Looking For Group by Rory Harrison
The Names They Gave Us by Emery Lord
Going Bovine by Libba Bray
Black Witch by Laurie Forest
Captain America Winter Soldier
I checked out A Long Way to A Small Angry Planet as part of a group buddy read for the month of June, so hopefully between all my Emojiathon books I can get that book read as well. Then I also decided to try Black Witch for myself. It hurts my heart a bit to see people writing reviews for a book they haven’t even tried to pick up themselves, so before I make any judgements on this book I’m going to try to read it and see how it goes. Til next time guys, Happy Reading!
Hey Everyone!! Alright, so we all know what a problem with books I have, but now I have an even bigger problem. That would be free books. Walking in to the library and seeing all the books that I want to read and knowing I can just take them home with me. What a feeling! So here we are, another week with WAY more books than I know what to do with. Although I did go a few days ago so I have read a few of these already, which makes me pretty proud! Because of how many books I got I did take the picture a little differently this time. I apologize for the size and how it shows up, but I just could not stack all of these! I think it kind of looks like a banner this week, let me know down below what you think about the layout. So as always, let’s get in to the books!
So many good books this week! I cannot wait to start reading them all. Let me know if you’ve checked any of them out before down in the comments. I love to hear from everyone!
Hey Everyone! So I wasn’t exactly planning to do this post again, or even so quickly, because I didn’t expect myself to read so many of my books from last week. But here we are, I have a ton of new books from the Library again because I went to return the ones I read and of course found a bunch that I wanted to check out. Also, a ton of these are pretty recent from what I know about, which makes me even more excited! So of course what I wanted to do was to share them with you! So let’s get in to the books!!
If I keep reading at the pace that I am, I may make this a weekly thing!
Hey everyone! Welcome back to my blog. I’ve missed being part of the online book community so much, and have realized how much I haven’t heard about new books since I’ve been out of the loop. So Tuesday this week I went to the Library and got a brand new library card and proceeded to check out way too many books. Now I know this is going to be a long post, so please stick with me, but I’m pretty excited to start reading all of these and be part of the hype again. I will link the goodreads page for all of these books so if you by some chance don’t know about these books you can check them out! So let’s get in to the books!
I’m already working on a couple of these books, but I’m super excited about all of them, are there any that you want to read? Any that I should check out from my library? Let me know!
